The 3rd Masonic District of Pennsylvania has announced that Eureka-West Shore Lodge No. 302 in Mechanicsburg, PA, has won the “Lodge of the Year Award” for 2025. The award is based on points earned by the lodge, as determined by criteria developed by Brother Jeffrey R. Miller, PDDGM.
Under the leadership of Bro. James C. McElhenie, Worshipful Master, Eureka-West Shore Lodge No. 302, led the district in officer participation at School of Instruction, district travel, charitable giving (over $3,000 to Help for Heroes!), conducted quarterly blood drives, and many other aspects of the criteria. They set goals for themselves and sometimes excelled, sometimes achieved, and sometimes fell short, but they kept doing things a lodge should do.
