Timothy C. Dedman, DDGM

Meet the District Deputy of the 3rd Masonic District

Brother Timothy C. Dedman was appointed District Deputy Grand Master of the 3rd Masonic District by Bro. Robert D. Brink, Right Worshipful Grand Master, effective December 27, 2025. Prior to this appointment, he served as Secretary of Eureka–West Shore Lodge No. 302 for eight years beginning in 2017. He previously served as Worshipful Master in 2015 and has been a Master Mason since 2006.

In addition to his lodge service, Bro. Dedman served as Region 2 IT Specialist for the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, providing secretary and treasurer training, Grand View assistance, and audit support to lodges across the Commonwealth.

A former classroom teacher, he taught fifth-grade and middle school mathematics for sixteen years. He later worked for seventeen years with the National Education Association in Washington, D.C., serving in a variety of roles, including Policy Analyst, Organizational Specialist, and Regional Director. Following his retirement, he served as Interim Executive Director of the Virginia Education Association in 2019.

Bro. Dedman is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Bryan Station High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree from Georgetown College, with additional post-graduate study at the University of Kentucky. He also holds a certification in Organizational Development from the National Training Laboratories in Bethel, Maine.

In addition to his Masonic service, Bro. Dedman serves in several leadership roles within his church. He is the father of one daughter, Olivia, who is currently a sophomore at Penn State-Harrisburg.
